1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
It took over five years and eight different physicians before I was finally diagnosed with Stage 4 Endometriosis. It was frustrating and exhausting. I wish that I had asked more questions sooner. I now use my voice as a National Ambassador for the Endometriosis Association to help other women recognize the signs and symptoms of this disease so that they are diagnosed sooner.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
As a Registered Nurse, I am concerned that our population is aging quickly and 42% of the world does not offer Hospice care. My hope is that by educating the general public and medical professionals, we can extend and improve the quality of life for our seniors when they need it the most.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Recently I have loved traveling with my husband and 21-month-old daughter. Every time she sees an airplane she lights up and gets excited about our next adventure. It’s fun traveling with her and seeing the world through her eyes.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
What I like most about my age is that I have developed resiliency. I’ve been through enough ups and downs to know that eventually there will always be an up. I no longer sweat the small stuff, know how to advocate for myself, and am able to help women struggling with endometriosis find and develop their own resiliency.
